Single in Arms from George writes…
Liewe Lulu…
Valentine’s Day is knocking on our doors again. As a single woman, a single mother, and a full-time nurse I know that this day can get lonely. Last year I started a new tradition with some single nurses on staff. On Valentine’s Day we meet for dinner and have a great time.
We call it Singles Girls Rock Day. Last year we had an amazing time and this year we are going to have even more fun! I believe that singlehood is not something to cry about. I think we should enjoy it and celebrate it just like we should celebrate marriage with the right person.
I left the father of my son because he was not the right man for me. As people we need to learn to appreciate the single phases and all phases of our lives as we enter them. For now I am happily single and loving it. Until I meet the right one.
My Dearest Single in Arms
Bathong babes, I am sure I am not the only person who admires your positive intelligent attitude about the journeys we encounter through life. This sh*t is refreshing. I love this for you, and I love this for your nurse squad.
Being single is not a curse. Being single is when you learn about yourself, it’s when you discover who you are and what your interests are. It’s where you grow a better understanding of the world, including relationships and love.
Nowadays more and more people are choosing to remain single until late into their 20s and 30s and V-Day seems to have become less of a festive day and more of a marketing campaign that makes single folks feel lost, alone, and very depressed.
Liewe Lulu’s very wise mother, Jennifer, told her many moons ago that we are as happy as we make up our minds to be. She also always reminds me to keep my goodies to myself until a worthy man comes into my life. Anyways, enough about Liewe Lulu’s goods! I do hope more singles can learn from you as a beaming example.
Love, light and prosperity to you babes!
